Eec-iv Fuel System Damn Speed Density
I have done all I can to maximize my 5.0 speed density system. The performance is short of O.K., headers, timing advance 10deg, hi fire coil, custom exhaust, polish exhaust ports, it has a ex hwy patrol engine,too ect. I am tired of screwing with this system and I do not want to try and mess with a chip...So, Ive got this 300+ hp 302 on my porch capable of 7000+rpm,used to be in my '85 stang. Yes, its been beefed up (bottom end) and headwork, and roller cam came stock.
I want to transplant this little badboy into my truck. It's an '86 150, with a C-6 3spd. Does anyone have suggestions? I need to adapt the fuel lines fom efi to carb. Can I use a press. regulator?
Also! Has anyone ever used the stock throttle plate or modified it to pull a carb linkage? See I want the tranny downshift cable to be operational!
