Morning all, I have a 2019 f250 and I’m looking for some recommendations for rear back up light set ups. Iv seen a million on the ol interweb, but nothing I see will fit on the *** end of my truck. Was hoping someone on here has a set up they can share that works. The set up I’m looking for is mainly for plowing(& yes I know if I mount lights at hitch/bumper height I run the risk of f’ing them up in snow piles) but I’m not interested in a back rack or mounting anywhere else. Any suggestions kindly appreciated, would love to know if anyone has a set up that’s not going to cost me $500+ ! Thanks
I'm not sure what you're looking for? Bumper-mounted lights? ZRoadZ makes a bracket that mounts to the bumper. There are tons and tons of aftermarket bumpers that are pre-cut/fabbed with light mounting points. Here is one from Westin, that I only linked to because it was first in the list (I have no experience with it). A 5 sec Google search will get you many, many, many rear-mount options. Finally, you can just attach some lights to the hardware already back there. Here is a pic of my truck with some el cheapo Amazon lights that I tied into the bumper bolts:
Not the best picture but this is my backup light setup. Rigid Flush Mount flood pattern. I've done this on the last 3 trucks I've had. It's a little nerve wrecking cutting into a new truck, but I love them. I have them wired to an Upfitter.
I went with the flush mount Rigid Ignite series because they seem to match my reverse sensors in the bumper. The install for the light is just a 1-3/4” hole which I figured was easier than trying to cut a square hole.

Those look nice, did you tap into your backup lights with them?
Yes, I have them tapped into the reverse lights and also have them on an upfitter. When i flip the switch, all 4 lights come on as well
I ran a separate switch for mine, unfortunately I don't have upfitter switches. I bought my truck off of the lot, and it has just about every option except the switches.
Like T-Banning, I just put some cheap 4" cubes on the back. If they stop working or get damaged I can easily replace them.
I spend money and buy excellent quality lights for the front where I need to see way down the road for Deer/Elk and Black Angus cows in the dark at night.
But I just don't need that high quality of light to back up to a trailer
I bent flat bar to make L brackets and mounted them using an existing rear bumper bolt. Wired them to aux 6 so I could use them as work lights as well.
I have a pair of Rigid Dually's mounted on the top rail of the bed of my off road truck. The options the boys posted above are cleaner for sure, but it's an option. If I flip those suckers on backing in my driveway they light up the whole yard... And my neighbors house. Haha.
