Hello from SC
My daily driver is a '16 f150 ecoboost. Love the truck.
However, I'm here for another truck that I have. My first truck was an '87 f250, extended cab 8' bed, 3.55 gears C6 tranny 460 4wd.
I happen to still have that truck but it has sat mostly unused for a few years now. I have contemplated getting it going 100% again and using it as just an off road truck.
While not exactly ideal with a long wheelbase, it's already paid for, the paint is faded, and it would be something I wouldn't mind scraping up. That's a better fate than rotting in weeds!
I stumbled across this forum while searching for information on lifting it with the TTB front end. I saw a few guys here in the forums specific to that era who made it seem like this place might be helpful while I work on this old truck.
Here are a couple of old pictures of the gal when I was in high school. It looks like this now but faded.

Click on the "Forums" box at the top left of your screen. You'll see a sub-forum called, "Older, Classic and Antique Trucks". In there, you'll find a section dedicated to your year group truck. The folks there will be happy to help with your issues.
Don't forget to check out your state chapter too.

Very clean, I would use it off-road too with the 4WD, but don't beat the living crap out of it. We need these beauties still around with such a clean body. I have an 87 F-250 with the 460 but 2WD it was a toy hauler for my grandpa. Does it still have the original 4180-C carburetor on it? I am in the middle of rebuilding one right now.
