ford motorsport 302 need advice

LAST EDITED ON 30-Nov-00 AT 04:54 PM (EST)[p]
i have a 1992 standard cab f-150 flareside with a 5.0 in it and an automatic. I want to put one of those Ford Racing 5.0's in with a T-5 or tremec manual transmission. Iwas wondering if anyone has done or heard of this before.
Are the engine mounts the same?
Will the transmission be easy to mount?
Will the stock drivesaft be the right length?
also what clutch should i use? The clutch is the only part i think i will need proffesional help on. i have never worked onone and dont even know all the parts i need.
any info is appreciated, thanks

Hi, the engine should drop right in but you have to check the length of the transmission and see if it is the same as the 5 speed and check the splines on the output shaft crossmember could be different too. John Sugden (FATFORTY)
