351M Bellhousing Depth

Could someone help me with what the engine face to transmission face of the 351M/400 bellhousing is?

I'm working on a setup with Advanced Adapters to install a 5 spd NV4500 in my 78 F250 in place of the NP435. They have said the 351M came with two options, 6.5" or 7.5" for the input shaft stick out. And I have seen various numbers on the bellhousing like 6.25", 6.375", and 6.75". Any help clarifying this would be apprecitated.

Have not heard of 2 depths but why not just measure yours?

I recently did an engine swap and checked all of these dimensions. The bellhousing is 6.250. Also if you need to factor in the engine plate that goes between the block and bell it is .071 thick.
