do not want to hijack the thread, but does anybody know where you can get the felt "bushings" or "spacers" so to speak that go on the pins that the lower window channel hooks onto? Or what is everybody using in place of them?
I used the dry graphite powder that was still laying around in the tube from my kid's days in scouts when we built pine wood derby cars. It works
very well too. I can almost roll up the window with one finger on the crank.
Are you talking about the internal parts of the door that are found when you take off the interior panel? I changed my door lock assembly and the yellow bushing or push pins (I guess they can be called bushings too) are available through Ford or any auto parts store. You can bring one with you to size it up. Lowes has nylon spacers, washers that will do the same. Shop it local and help the small guys)
