Hey guys, new to the forum, I bought my first Ford truck, a 2020 F350 Lariat Sport, with the 7.3L! It's pretty sweet! I know I know its not a diesel, but I don't need or want another one right now.
I've had a few Chevys and Ram trucks over the years and got to know a few quirks. I'm wondering if anyone here has any input to help me keep this truck reliable and looking good for a few years aside from general maintenance. It's going to be a work truck, running some gravel roads in the oilpatch. For an example, on my current Ram work truck I built a stone guard to protect the ABS sensor on the rear diff, as they'd get broken from rocks.
Thx!
Depends on where you live. I’m in the Northeast, so have road salt to deal with. Rust is the only constant issue I have; otherwise all my Fords have held up quite well. You will enjoy the truck. That 7.3l must be nice. I have a 2011 6.2l - very reliable and strong.

I road tested a 6.2L XLT, found it pretty good, would probly been happy with it other than it rode kinda rough with the snow plow package. When I brought my wife to see it and a couple Rams she saw the Lariat sport on the lot and twisted my rubber arm lol.
