I don't have a 2A fuse in my box - that I'm aware of... Where is this cluster fuse located (e.g. with the rest down by the driver's feet)? Hope we can get you an answer.

the answer is, it depends...there could be potential issues if any part of that circuit (such as copper traces on the instrument cluster backing) can't handle 5.99999 amps until the fuse blows, those parts of the circuit then become the "fuse" so to speak and could smoke before the fuse blows...I'm sure there is a reason it was designed to be 2 amps (or 3 amps according to some sources)...but you will be ok as long as nothing shorts on that circuit...
Good advice above. Any electrical supply house should have one. Amazon and online do as well. When these trucks were new, no doubt the wiring could take 6 amps through it. Forty plus years of corrosion and hack mechanics splices could have changed all that, and the weakest link is wherever it is.
