BT Initializing. Please try again.
We were away on a week-long trip, and this popped up on the last day. I fiddled around with the bluetooth settings and even did a "Master Reset". None of which worked, so we made the trip home without my phone connected to SYNC.
Then I found a couple of really good Youtube videos that showed how to fix this. It's actually quite simple, and you don't need a video to do it.
First, remove the panel cover for the interior fuse panel (right-side floor level on the passenger side). Then remove fuse #32 (it's the only little 10 amp fuse between a 20 amp and a 15 amp fuse). Count to 10 (or 5 if you're impatient), and re-insert the fuse.
Done! You can now get into the bluetooth settings, turn bluetooth on and off, and re-pair your phone.
This is the first (and only) time this has happened to me in the 5+ years that I've had the truck. The next time it happens to me, I will probably be senile, so you folks can remind me how to fix it!

Glad you got it fixed!
My first suggestion for any issues like this are usually to disconnect the battery for 30 seconds, which would have the same effect. I suppose the fuse might be easier for some. Good information.

I saw the battery disconnect option too, and opted for the fuse, as it only affects SYNC; and not other electronic things like the transmission programming or radio presets.
