starting probs...please help
I have a different starting system from most of you. I turn the key all the way until it stops, then the dash lights and fuel pump come on and it does the rabs check. Then, I push a button on the dash to start it. This system was created by the last owner. My question is, lately it has been taking more and more to get the dash lights/fuel pump to come on. It won't start with just the accessory function working. I have to keep going back and fourth with the key, I.E. off to run to off to run to off etc. etc. It does start sometimes, but it seems almost random. This is very annoying and could easilly leave me stranded, so any help would be greatly appreciated. The haynes manual has not been too much help, but i will keep looking. Thanks.

I have definately thought of that, I'll have to do more checking come the weekend-school doesn't give me much time to toy with this. I have also considered a loose ground wire. I have tried looking, but I don't really know where to start. I don't want to sound like a helpless idiot...but I kind of am, being only 16 and having only done 3 or 4 repairs on a car. Anyhow, Thanks again for any more help.
