I've made some decent progress these past few months...a lot of 1 step forward & 2 step backwards issues...but we're getting there.
Vintage Air Installed..... Still need to get it charged.
Kilmat sound deadner installed...80 mil
Stripped & primed the hood...added the emblems. I'm using a flip kit that I bought off of EBay.
Installed it yesterday. I still need to rig up some sort of cable to restrict the forward movement of the hood so it won't hit the grille. Before Using these do-dads instead of a prop rod... 1 on each side. I think i will probably use a prop rod also Looking more like a truck !!
I still need to do the bed, interior, windshield & back glass
What’s the verdict on the Killmat? I’ve been reading reviews and watching videos on these type of products and still can’t decide.
At this point, all I can say about Kilmat is that it works well as far as sound deadening. Knock on the roof or door now and its just a light thud.
This is the first time I've used a sound deadening product so I can't say its as good as any other product or not.
I bought the Kilmat because it had good reviews and was less expensive than Dynamat.
My main concern is that I hope it stays stuck to the roof. It is pretty sticky stuff though, so it might not be an issue.

I’ve read a few reviews that mentioned smell, do you have any concerns about that?
