'53 Flathead mount
I might have been hallucinating, but I thought at one time I saw a '53 truck with a flathead, mounted in the more "modern" fashion of a single point in front, and two in the rear, with the trans hanging on the back. Is this true? What are the components that did this? Different bellhousings, water pump braces?

Not hallucinating at the moment 
The 53's had a V shaped mount that bolted to the block around the waterpumps. The bellhousing had 'ears' cast in that served as rear mounts.
