Adding Front Cameras

I've searched the forum and couldn't find anything. Is it possible to add front camera(s) to my 2019 F250 Lariat?

Thanks,

Camera Source is one company I have found - look thru there and see if you can find what you need. I don't have much info as I've only browsed around.

I've been investigating this as well. My 2020 Lariat came with both rear cams (tailgate and CHMSL). I've been trying to figure out if anyone has successfully added just the front camera. (P/N LC3Z-8213-E). I have the wiring harness behind the front grille, as well as the IPMB module and dash camera button. Was hoping it'd be as simple as plugging in the new camera and activating it with FORScan, but haven't been able to confirm.

So I made what I hope was a bit of progress today. Found that I had settings to enable to Front Camera in the APIM. (I assume that would be there in any Sync3 unit) After enabling the Front Camera and the Software toggle for Multi Camera and have the appropriate options on screen. (Originally, I only had the option to zoom) However, I haven't attempted anything in the IPMB yet to see if the input is actually there. I'm assuming my only option now is to buy a camera from the dealer and plug it in to the existing harness and see what happens.

Following with interest. If this works, I’m pretty sure you’ll also need a new front emblem with the camera hole. I ordered blackened out front/rear emblems and they inquired if I had the front camera- which I currently don’t. While replacing the emblems I noticed the front camera wire is already installed on my truck making me curious about a future front camera upgrade.

The part number I referenced a few posts back appears to be the black oval with the camera. I haven’t been able to determine if that part at least includes the black cover for the washer port.

Good to know, thanks. My emblems were custom painted and a bit more black. (Murdered out, maybe?).

sorry for the size of the pic, I’m posting from an iPad and don’t see how to resize it.

Looks sharp - I was attempting to match what was already there so that I don't have to change the rear emblem as well. I know what you mean about photos, I somehow attached full sized ones a few posts back and couldn't get them to change.

Still been digging to see if anyone else has had any success (Which doesn't give me a lot of hope, lol). In going through data tonight, I found the following IPMB values for my truck:

7B1-01-01 0300 0302 02C4
7B1-01-02 0000 00BB
7B1-02-01 0400 0000 00BF
7B1-02-02 0000 00BC
7B1-03-01 03FF FF0F 00CC
7B1-03-02 0000 00BD

I'm new to Forscan, so was hoping to glean some insights on how the parameters are coded so I pulled the as built data for a similar truck with 360 cams:

7B1-01-01 5000 5C61 26ED
7B1-01-02 F20D 02BC
7B1-02-01 101A 8801 0472
7B1-02-02 8600 0042
7B1-03-01 FFFF FF00 C079
7B1-03-02 03F3 0FC2

Unfortunately, I'm not seeing enough similarities to find the starting point that I was hoping for. Does anyone have a bit more detailed knowledge of the 6 IPMB addresses and their corresponding instructions? I've found some references in other forums from livinitup related to the F150, and assume the modules would be similar, but still leery about taking a shot in the dark at it.

I'm interested in this as well. How do I know if I already have the existing connector?

I can see the connector through my grill. It’s tied off right behind my emblem. It’s attached to a round plastic clip. (Sorry again for the large image size. I’m posting from my phone)

Forscan gurus....Am I looking at any risks if I copy the above IPMB values over to my module? They came from the asbuilts for another 250 with 360 cams. I remember reading something about messing with the IPMA potentially causing errors that could only be corrected with IDS, but wasn't sure about the IPMB.

Thanks!
