Just measured my 2018 F350 drw and the top of the B&W ball is at 42" which is why I had to raise the gooseneck foot on my Shocker all the way up. A Shocker costs one adjustment hole, btw. The Spartan costs two.
Now I'm welding in a ball on Gantor the F550 7.3 and plan to set it down to 36" top of the B&W. That will allow me to fully level the 3-axle dump that 550 will tow exclusively.
What are your thoughts on ball height? The Chinese Reese ball that I tossed was about an inch lower, fyi.
