Oil inside intake manifold

there was always some oil in the turbo.
A lot of people think it will damage the turbo with the droplets hitting the vanes.
There was usually eventually an oily mess in the filter area or drain pipes.
Right, and I never worked on any diesel yet that there wasn't oil laying in the ribs of the 4"-6" rubber flex duct right in front of the turbo.

A little off subject, but after doing my injector o-rings I realized my stalling issue was caused by no fuel at the filter feed line from the fuel pump. I thought it was caused by leaking caps. I took care of the leaking caps and when I noticed the shrader valve not putting out fuel while cranking I replaced the fuel pump. Only 30 bucks. Doing that did not fix the problem. Where should i check now. Selector valve or drop the tank to check the sending unit? Also for some reason just recently my fuel guage doesn't register. Oh, I added fuel just in case i was running low. The selector switch may be bad cause it doesn't switch tanks. Maybe im answering my own question here and just drop the tank and check the sending unit.???

IF the selector valve is not switching tanks then it is not switching the senders either.

For your reference....
