a/c vents
I am ready to install a/c vents and looking for ideas. I would love to find some that could fit in the "flat" that flows from the inst. cluster across to doors on 53 to 55's. They would need to be only about 1 1/4 inches tall. I have seen some 60's/70's GM products that would appear to work, but I have not seen one out of the vehicle, so I'm unsure if they might work. Has anyone used anything similar? I know that Vintage Air has some that are 1 1/4" but I'm not ready to gamble $90.00 to find out if they would fit. Any input? Thanks.

I used the hid-a-vents from Rod Doors in the under dash cover. I did not want to put any holes in the dash. But they're expensive and I'm still trying to get the hoses to clear in the back.
