Headlights won't go out

Headlights won't go out
I have a 2013 F350 Crew C
Question on my 2013 F350 Diesel 6.7L. Cleaned off the battery terminals, doing one side at a time. The headlights came on after I put the last one on and they won't go out. Unhooked both cables for a but, reinstalled them and the headlights are on again and won't go off.
And yes, I have checked to make sure they aren't on.
Any ideas what might be happening?
