Does "WB 163" mean it has a 163" wheelbase? Is that a special extra long frame/wheelbase model? I thought the longest wheelbase was 157"?

The SuperCab with the 8' bed has the 163" wheelbase. It is the rarest of the F150 combos. We have one at work. Great ride on the highway, tough to park. It's easier to back in.

Good catch - I was thinking the bed looked longer, and didn't realize you could get an 8' bed w/ Scab (but admittedly we really only looked at Crews for this truck). Already have that combo in the F350 and yeah, you got to plan the parking lot maneuvers...

Yes, it is HD Payload and 163" wheelbase. That is almost Unicorn I guess. I have a 8' truck camper and the few times that I need to carry 6 people the ones in the front can pull in their legs. Sorry to take so long to reply, but my cell phone wouldn't send an e-mail to my desktop computer until I did an Android update. Bill

In the old days you could order a full Crew Cab with an 8' bed. That was a REALLLLY long truck. Does anybody know when that ended???

Not for F150s - you can still get a "Titanic" configuration like that in Super Duty's...

Thanks for the payload Pic. That sure is a nice payload, better than many F250s. Nice truck, we all assume you plan to pull something more than a 23' Travel Trailer, lol.

Never existed on the F150, that combo is still available on the Superduty and those trucks are now bigger and larger than the old. The newest CCLB trucks have a 176" WB.

Thanks for correcting me on the availability of Crew cab with 8' bed on Super Duty only. Don't think I need anything longer than what I have. My wife called my 2010 in this configuration "the transport". She hasn't had a ride in the new one yet.

I don't envy the maneuvering required with something that is even longer than mine! I usually joke that I have to phone ahead to make a U-turn. Another 6 inches would make it even more entertaining.

Beautiful truck! I'm looking at ordering the same setup except with a 5.0 motor, and in ruby red or possibly that big foot blue

Very nice looking truck. My last 8ft bed was on my 1985 Scab F150. It was my mileage champ also.
