29 Gallon (Diesel Engine) – 142"or 148” Wheelbase XL and XLT only
34 Gallon (Diesel Engine) – 160" or 164" Wheelbase All Trim Levels
34 Gallon (Gas Engine) – NA 176” Wheelbase All Trim Levels but not on Limited
48 Gallon (Gas Engine) – 176” Wheelbase All Trim Levels but not on Limited
48 Gallon (Diesel Engine) – 176" Wheelbase All Trim Levels
Yea if you tow any decent amount with these trucks and you have a gas engine the 8' bed is a must. I was towing my camper from IA to CO and had a nasty head wind. I was filling up every 200 miles or so. I couldn't have even imagined if I had the smaller tank at the time. That trip alone made my mind up to go back to the diesel.
