Heck, the steering wheel on the 69 I bought is upside down! the middle spoke points at the roof of the cab. Do you suppose someone replaced the whole steering column off by 180 degrees?
I was going to fix it by repositioning the steering wheel; but maybe I need to undo the column at the rag joint and spin it halfway around?
Help!
My father passed away and I have a 67 Ford one owner in good working condition PU to sell. It has all orginal body with some rusting but not cancerious, orginal interior (seats in good condition), floor fine, crome appears all orginal. Only item I can tell isn't is a side mirror. Have just over 100,000 actual miles. Manual choke. No AC (never did). Radio works but need new antenia. Just drove it over 120 miles to my home without problem. Could use new tires.
What is it worth? Where do I start if selling process? I am clueless.
Which engine is in the truck? what transmission? Not sure? post your VIN and info tag data (they are located on the driver side door and pillar) - we can decode them. I would recommend that you start a new topic - more people can find your message to help you that way. I just remembered go to the 1967 ford truck registry - they have a ton of info specific to the 67's there. If the following link doesn't work, search "1967 ford truck registry" on google.com. Here is the link http://67fordtruck.com/Home.html
You didn't indicate 4x4 so I assume 2x4. Long bed / short bed? Styleside or stepside? Got pics? Make sure you post 'em in your ad.
Check your local want ads - search ebay - check the "auto trader" type publications in your area - heck, check autotrader's website. Make sure you look for trucks in your geographical area - trucks are plentiful in the northwest, in the southwest, etc and are less expensive there. Rust free trucks in the midwest and northeast bring about twice what they do in other areas.
