Thank you. That area had obviously been repaired before. It was really a mess. It’ll need a thin skim of filler to be just right. I plan on installing a restored stock Bendix tube radio.
Going from memory some of those holes on the bottom were stock. The '63 I had never had any radio. I still wish I had it.
The only hole I left was the radio support bracket hole. Speaking of brackets, anyone have a stock bracket they want to part with? I can make one if I need to.
I just got my dash repaired. Not sure if I want to go with a restored stock radio or one from a mustang.
I have been recommended using the filler metal2metal because of its versatility and strength by several people. Any objections(sorry to hijac)
Nice work on the repair, and I'm liking the Crown Vic emblem on the glove box.
