Ambient temperature sensor missing on RHS mirror
I recently purchased a 2013 F250. The previous owner replaced the broken RHS original factory mirror with one that does not have the ambient temperature sensor. I have purchased the sensor and want to know is there a way to wire it to the existing mirror or do I need to splice into the original harness. Also, will the sensor in this model year affect the AC if it is not working? The temp reading on the instrument cluster indicates -44F. Your comments are appreciated in advance.
Thanks,
Frank
