Howdy folks. My youngest son will fly in Thursday morning. He got leave from the military med school so he could come home, buy our Subaru from us and drive it back to Bethesda, MD. I had a new clutch put in last week. I replaced the battery with an AGM battery, did an oil change, replaced the air filter, new wipers, topped off fluids and detailed whatever on the exterior that was worth detailing, including the engine. My wife detailed the interior. The tires are in great shape. It has 166,000 miles on it. I hope it makes it to Bethesda.

Howdy Jim, your son should be fine.. Subaru is a great car.. I put over 300,000 miles on mine, sold it to a guy years ago, and he still drives it around from time to time.

Sunny Saturday #4 and Thong Thursday or in my case Thirsty Thursday Wyoming, Lanny, Tyler, Jim, Roy and crew.

I agree with Lanny on the Subaru!
Had an like 84 GL sedan and I drover it 300K and sold it to a friend who had a garage and parts store. He used it as a parts runner vehicle. When he closed and sold it in about 2005 it had close to 900k and still going! It had the original engine and manual trans mission, Several clutch's had been put in and a couple axle shafts and brakes. But was still going strong!

The H4 engine that was used in 2004 wasn't their best effort. The head gaskets are a known failure point. I replaced that about three years ago. It's a wimpy four banger. I've spent more money on repairs than it cost to buy the vehicle. I should have kept the '91 Ranger. My wife said it wasn't safe because it didn't have air bags.

Fantastic Fall Saturday morning Wyoming, Lanny, Tyler, Jim Roy, Pat and crew reporting.
Cool and overcast at 63° with a 2-3kn breeze. We are waiting on the rain from Delta to move in sometime today. We did have a little this morning but it should move north and set in for the weekend this afternoon.

Inside doing house work and trying to figure out dinner for the wife this evening.
