Well, here's what my Edge has.

It's a 2002 Supercab.

Red turn signals, just like yours, WXBoy.
No cargo lamp, just like yours.

235/75r15 FULL SIZED SPARE but keep in mind, I have the "Edge" and it came with 235/75 r15 tires all around.

Manual crank windows.

From looking at my sales brochure (still have it almost 2 years after buying it) the cargo light was not avaliable on the Edge and FX4 models, but standard equipment on the base and XLT models. You will also notice that Edge and FX4 share the same hood and front bumper profile. Basically, the same front clip, except yours has a chrome bumper.

As for the power retention thing, I think the new Explorers still have it.

Ford will do whatever they feel will help their bottom line, and they know people will still buy their product not for the options, or deleted items from previous models, but for quality.

My 03 came with a full size, and it is the very basic truck you could have, but of course the splash guards, cargo light....
