I have a 71-71 ford 460 going in my 54 panel truck with a Fatman chassis mustang 2 suspension can anyone tell me what oil pan will work .(front,rear,dual sump) oil pan.
I used a double sump, it has a small sump in the front over the crossmember and the main sump at the rear... 6 qt pan
Ithink it was a van pump, got mine from Bishop engine replacement in Dallas... their invoice showed
Ford Oil Pump #535, but that was years ago... a phone call might get you an application for it

I know the 460 is a different animal but I just went through the same thing trying to shoehorn a 390 in with my Mii front end. This pan was recommended based on a person with a ‘54 with the same setup. Maybe worth exploring if they have a version that works for your motor?
