No reverse lights ???? HELP
I have no reverse lights .. I've checked the bulbs and they are ok, I checked the connections, they are good too. I replaced the switch that goes on the tranny with still no luck .......
Any ideas ... oh ya its a 5 speed manual tranny ...

One check the fuse. Should be under the dash with all the others but might be labled as somthing else or work with somthing else. Next I would bypass the switch by unhooking the wire to the revrse switch on the tranny and hooking a jumper of those two wires. Make sure the key is in the run position and see if the lights work. If both these things check okay and still no lights then the problem is in the wirng. The most likely connection to be bad is in the back of the truck about in the center but sligtlhy to the left. Its were a trailer wirng adapter would hook in. try unhooking and rehooking. if that dont work its time to start tracing the wires and looking for the problem. Good luck electrical gremlins are alwsy fun to find.
