Tires

So i have a 95 f150 xl. I plan on putting a 6 inch lift on it, what are the largest tires i could fit on it. It currently has 235/ 75r15 before the lift. I also plan on getting new rims so they can be wider. Also it has a 5.0 and is 4wd 1/2 ton.

I would be more concerned with what gears it has first, these trucks were anemic stock. If you go with a 35" tires you will need some 4.56 gears.

do you know how much that might cost to regear it to 4.56? And would 4.56 or 4.88 be better?

with a 6 inch lift, you will easily be able to fit a 33X10.5 tire. a 35X12.5 should fit also.
but like said, you will need at least a 4.56 gear set for the 35's
