Tuff Country radius arms - binding
I'm installing a lift in my '84 Bronco. I am using Tuff country extended radius arms and axle drop brackets with Skyjacker 2" lift coils and .5" spacers under the coils.
The radius arms seem to bind quite a bit as the axle goes through it's range of travel.
The arm has to move up and down, but it also has to twist to follow the arc of the axle. It seems like the design of the radius arms and r. a. brackets do not compensate for this twist. I can see the r. a. bracket flex outward as I move the axle up to the bump stop using a floor jack (no spring installed).
Does anyone have any experience with these arms?
Thanks!
