Catalytic converter placement
94 F-250, 7.5, E4OD
After completing the rebuild, I installed a complete banks system. Did not put in a catalytic converter. Sound is a little loud for me, so i picked up a magnaflow universal cat. I have a straight pipe between my y pipe and muffler. Can I just center in that pipe? Should it be closer to muffler or y pipe? Or does it really matter?

thanks torq'ta 58. After researching more, that was kinda my thought as well. I will attach to the y pipe, see how that works.
