Looking for a comprehensive music source
Hi,
I'm looking to find a source for various types of more or less modern music. Having a hard time finding anything. Way back when I was a yoot, we had 2 rock stations in town. But they played a bit more than just rock. There would be a little country, a little folk and the occasional funny song.
I look around these days and the radio stations seem to be pretty much into their own thing. A lot more stations, but each specializing in their own deal -- including some doing various histories ( classic rock, oldies, etc). Satellite seems to be worse. with a fair number of one artist/group stations.
And I know that there's a lot out there that I just don't find. except in some big outdoor concert deal. HAIM and Alabama Shakes just to name a couple. I think that I heard one Corb Lund song on the radio once.
Maybe you have to tweet your facebook and then snapchat tiktok to find out more -- I just don't know.

i have stopped listening to radio because their choices are the came 5-10 songs played over and over and over and over and over.
i download songs to a 64 gig thumb drive and stick that into the usb port on the truck radio.
i currently have 9 days of music on the drive, so it does not get repetitive.
