Well, I found a Lariat wheel on Craigslist, so I went that route.
While changing the trim on the wheel it looks like Ford (or whoever makes the wheel) glues the leather on the wheel and the stitching is just for looks. Glue squeeze out everywhere.

I just put a cheapo on my 07' Frontier, thinking about going this route on my two fiddy as preventative. Is your wheel as thick as it looks on top or is it just the camera angle?
