96 v 94 460
I have a 94 F250 with a 460 that I am planning on rebuilding. Any advantage to picking up a 96 and building that? Cost for the 96 motor would be $350

Thanks for your help.

As far as I know it is the exact same motor so the only advantage is you can build one and still drive the truck.

Yeah both are the same. There’s two versions of the EFI 460 in these trucks, 88-92 and 93-97. In ‘93 they got upgraded the cylinder heads and pistons.
