Brake rotor madness

This should be simple. My wife's Expedition (2013 Limited 2WD, non-air suspension) needs brakes, front rotors, and shocks. A good friend of mine has his own mechanic shop, so I usually bounce what I am planning to do off him first. He said buy loaded shocks, those with the spring on them already. He says re-using the old spring is not a good idea because you don't replace the upper bearing. No they aren't cheap, but I want Bilsteins and they don't come that way. So I bought the Bilstiens and new upper shock mounts instead. Going to use Motorcraft Super Duty brake shoes. Who knew Motorcraft made so many choices of brake shoes, but I knew what I wanted. Done. Now the rotors...whoa. He said use Motorcraft because all you get is junk from most auto stores. There are so many Motorcraft selections and none really say what the difference is. There's NBRR1 (which I believe are coated), BRRF293, BRR227, BRR155, BRRF197. I don't know what to get? Anyone brake that down for me?

BRF prefix indicates OEM material and quality, and that BR indicates "value" material.
