1960 F600. Standard front axle, 4700lbs I believe. Any reason not to get 7.5-20 for the front? Each tire is rated at 3500lbs. Right now the 8.25s rub at full turn.
The F600 was probably the best truck of it's type for many years, maybe for all years of production.
My brother had a 1968 F600 car hauler that he used to transport forklifts for a few local forklift companies. He repowered it from the 330 to a 429. He never had a lack of power after that... But overall? That truck was built like a brick you-know-what. Many fond memories of my early teens riding around in that truck helping him (and getting paid).
