might B the 1st I noticed the hi steer.
Pretty plain on the middle 1 I think.
Not up on them. Gota schematic? exploded diagram
something plain (most pic can not show the whole, R too dark, etc.)
I know those bars (seen in the pic on flat top knuc) but not the rest of the linkage.
"Cross steer" its called?

Yes the passenger side has a high steer arm on top of the knuckle. And that means the steering box pitman arm connected rod goes to the opposite side steering knuckle. It also has a TRO mod. Tie Rod Over mod is to get the tie rod on top of the steering knuckle and up out of harms way. And it is HEAVY DUTY.
A pretty good explanation. https://www.barnes4wd.com/Over-The-K...ined_b_39.html

gotta see one in the field or sompin. Hi steer is out for me as the kucks run 500$ or sompin. I see those bars and wonder how they hook upta what. Its like the reverse cut D44. Aint gunna use it just wanna understand a lill more. Cost and app aren't for me.
33 inch and uncut's 4 me. Just want the nxt lill jump up from a steep'n bumpy dity road seldom traveled. Skiddin logs & payin all the bronk costs (free sno plow, my own fire wood getter, a wagon hauler'n so forth) was fine. Free registration, insurance, gass, maintenence'n occasional upgrades ( 2x the motor ol capacityr, all disc breaks, 5 speed) was nice. Can't afford to stress'n break, that's fun for some guys. I'm out a rig w/that.

ADDENDUM:
Did I C U post some links to other sites DIY-rebuid-a-steer box?
I no it wuz one of ur projects along the way to redneck ram. Got some guys on another forum (BONES = bronks, n. e. states) who are on the fence of a ship out (all quite far away) and a home attempt. Ur or another's "follow da pic" might help decide.
Thought I'd stop here 1st.
Thnx Rich~

I did some U Tube surfing and got all the good info I could. All the welding on the hyd ram axle attachment point is done, it is going back together tomorrow. I do not go to other web sites except for Classic Bronco. Changing the seats, fixing a fuel line and firing it up in the next day or 2.
I do not Facebook, so no further than this for BONES. https://www.facebook.com/groups/98225088885/

Well I got the passenger side axle u joint replaced.
Got the hyd assist ram mount bracket welded and gusseted back to the axle.
Got the roll cage door bars cut off.
Got some newer suspension bucket seats and cool covers installed.
Got a dry rotted and leaking fuel return line replaced.
Got it to start and move under its own power (since Thanksgiving) over closer to the shop and the welder.
Still have to weld the door bars back on at a better angle. And now have to weld repair a rear axle/leaf spring connection joint I just found cracked. We have a SMORR trip planned on the 16-18 July.

Rear leaf spring broken bracket repaired, yea it is not "professionally" welded, but it is welded back on and braced. No one freak out, it is a trailer/trail rig only that only sees 10 to 15 MPH anyway. And it has a 4 link back there too. I also got the door bars back on in the new lower position. Once it lives thru this last trip, it is going to be all cut off and overhauled completely.

Well since I could not get the Red Bronco new axles to go in (long story covered elsewhere) we just took the son on laws Bronco to SMORR this past Friday. The rail buggy Bronco stayed home since I did not want to end up with 2 inop Bronco's for me to work on.......LOL keep reading. I got to drive...he was good with just riding.
We wheeled all Friday afternoon and into the evening. We led on a lot of trails and had a fun convoy of us, the SIL's work buddy in his custom CJ7 and 5 Razors with new folks (to the park) needing a trail guide.
Then Saturday AM on a severely washed out level 3 trail, a Mustang 302, some 38x14.50x15's and a little to much of the skinny pedal...I snapped a passenger side front axle (long) shaft.
Then the fun began, just to get backed out of the trail and to a place to be able to turn around in 3wd. It was a VERY narrow deep rutted up trail (the CJ could not get around me) and in the end I was sideways in a trough and the winch cable had to be pulled to get the front end back around.
Back to camp and let the trouble shooting begin. Yes broke front axle shaft, we were done for the weekend. Loaded it on the trailer and came home later on that afternoon. But at least I only have 2 inop Bronco's. And that beats 3 anyday. Sorry no pics this time.

Yes I am glad we got in fridays wheeling, besides the folks that stayed the rest of the weekend got drenched on the trails saturday afternoon and evening. We got loaded/tied, drove home and unloaded and tires changed (so it can fit on another trailer) without one raindrop. But then we got 2" to 4" of heavy rain an hour later at my place.
