Hey all, I'm working through this project I have going on with my '01 F250.
I've come to the exhaust. I have headers and a cat-back on the way, but I'm wondering if there is a cost effective replacement to the cat on the truck now.
How much is the factory cat worth on these things?

There are after market ones out there much less than the oems. Oems are gold plated or so they think and the prices reflect it. I put one on my ranger some years ago andf it currently has 150000+ plus on it and no issues. Check with an independent muffler shop in your area for availability.
