This is going to sound trivial.. but I want all my aerostars working as intended. The spring popped out of my sunglass holder on my factory center console and for the life of me I can't figure out how to put it back in!
Anyone have any expertise? It still opens and closes.. but no spring action
The spring is wrapped around the left pivot of the door and anchored on one side by the case and on the other side through a hole in the frame. If it popped out, that means the plastic stud that forms the pivot of the case either popped out of the frame, or broke off of the case, or both. The studs fit into the frame by somehow expanding and distorting the frame. Be careful that you don't crack either.
