Brakes on my Excursion
I was drving out of my neighborhood when the idiot bell (the same one that sounds when you leave the keys in the ignition) sounded for what appeared to be no apprarent reason. It did it again as I was slowing down for a stop sign. This time the parking brake light flashed at me and it hasn't done it since. It was a chilly 59 degrees out this morning, but I doubt that has anything to do with it. It's more than likely my brakes telling me it's time to get some new pads, but this could easy be an early warning about something else. Any ideas or suggestions as to what this could be? I'll see if it does it again after work today. I'll post any new developments. Anyone is welcomed to post on this, every little bit helps. Thanks in advance.

As soon as I got home I did that, the idiot bell never went off again. I guess it was just a fluke. Thanks for your help anyhow.
