Volare question.
I was under the Volare equipped 55 this afternoon, looking for the cause of the 45-55 mph shaking steering wheel I am experiencing. Looking down the length of the right side torsion bar, I see a gap between the steel of the t-bar and the rubber of the mount of some 1/8" or maybe even a little more. I'm assuming there should be no gap.This is the mount closest to the end of the bar. I'm thinking I may have located my issue. Ireplaced the t-bar bushings that bolt to the control arm couple years ago so thats not my problem, and no broke or leaking shocks. TIA

I just went to the garage and looked under my truck. I don't see any gap between the torsion bar and the rubber. I'm assuming you only had this issue on 1 side? I believe you have located your problem as I have no vibration in the front end at any speed. Parts should be readily available to repair this. Good Luck, Steve
