Exhaust question???
I have a 1989 E350 with a non turbo 7.3. I want to remove the restrictive exhaust, and put 3" pipe from the stock manifolds back. I've read in variuos posts, that diesel require a certain amount of back pressure. Just wondering if running 3" exhaust will have a bad effect on my engine?

diesels hate backpressure. go ahead and do the exhaust mod. i think you will be pleased.

My truck with 4inch stacks runs great have not had any trouble to date.

Hello, Just put a non-restrictive muffler and 3 inch pipe on my 91 7.3 and gained 1 1/2 miles per gallon, and more power!!!!!!!!!
