Picked up my F350 on Friday. Ordered 5/28. Overall very pleased with the 7.3 and the 4.30 gears. I don't have many miles on it, but it does run good and the trans seems to shift just fine. One difference from my 2017 F450 is that the under hood
is not painted body color. Its an off white. When did they start that?
my truck is black and under my hood was partially painted, so I installed a 2019 hood insulation and cleaned it up. Had to make a couple holes and a small cut to reattached the service light which is in a different location.
Where is the rest of the Pic of the truck ???!!! lol Gee hope they don't do that with my Silver Spruce
Congrats !
Lin, I have the 2020 Silver spruce and I just checked the color under the hood, it's flat black. I've had it open several times but didn't really pay attention to the color. Actually looks good to me.
Best that I have at this time. Platinum trim, no sunroof. Looking for some wheels and tires but don't like the negative offsets. Best I have found are +20mm with a 9" wide wheel. That will bring the wheel outside about 1.5". Looking at the 295/65/20 Michelin LTX tires. Hopefully I
can keep the overall tire no more than 2" from stock position. Don't need off-road tires, just looking to personalize the truck.
Factory wheels are +44mm. 25mm equal 1”. Plus the original wheels are 8 or 8.5” wide. You do the math. A +20mm wheel moves the wheel out 1” all by itself from stock. If the wheel is wider you get about 1/2 of that width on the outside also. I might could live with the difference with an aggressive tread design, but with a street tread like the LTX, not sure. Might just have to give it a go and see.
How does Ford come up with that number? My sticker (CCSB 7.3 F250) say no more 3118 lbs. But, the sticker has my 18" stock Goodyear AT tires at 65 PSI only, even though the tires are marked for 80PSI. If you add up the tires, they can handle a combined weight of 14k+. Plus, 3118 total cargo and passengers seems a little low for a camper package. I guess it's that 10k package sticker, because the numbers don't add up.

Its the gvwr minus the weight of the vehicle with a full tank of fuel.
Your F250 has one less leaf spring and lower tire psi.
Been going strong for a year and a half, and I use it every day (I work nights). Like with all cheaper light bars, a little extra silicone goes a long ways. I popped the end caps off and put a bead of silicone in there to seal up any potential gaps or pinholes. I don't know if it was needed or not, but it helps me sleep better
