Yawn.... What's that you say? Still coping with smoke out here. Fog came up to 2000' this morning. A lot cooler than it's been, but we still have smoke because the fires continue to burn.

IIt’s going to be more like Scorching September up here. We are headed for 110+ in the North Valley by Sunday.

Well, checking the forecast today, it shows Sunday being the hottest at 108, and then Monday at 107, and the temps getting lower after that.

It actually got cooler here today.

I would change "Soggy September" to "Smokey September", but Dad didn't give me the keys.

TGIF Nor Cal. Hope everyone has a safe weekend, and make sure not to do any labor this weekend.

Happy Saturday all, and to another heat way. According to the forecast, today will be 108. Hottest day of the next ten days.

Forecast over here is for Sunday to be the extra cooker day. It's plenty hot this morning for my taste right now.

Well, we have had a heat reprieve today and it’s only 100, but the air quality index is at 160+. The smoke has kept the temperatures down thankfully..

Well, leave it to the weather guessers to change the forecast again. Now they are saying tomorrow will be 110. Then 109 for Monday, and 108 Tuesday. I wonder where they come up with this stuff?

They follow models. They usually have several models, and when the models disagree, the either average them, or they take a majority rule kind of approach. When the weather does unusual things, the models can break down.

Wish me luck, we are attempting to trim back the two privet trees in our yard today. We’ll probably work until about noon and call it because of the heat. It is fun trying to get them out of the phone and cable lines and PG&E won’t touch them because they aren’t impinging on the power lines yet.
