For those with headers

Do you have problems with your gaskets? my brother's always telling me how he had to replace his gaskets all the the time.

never had too replace them, but when you put them in you gotta check the bolts for about a week or so and snug them up if loose.

I agree with above short of warped header flanges you should be fine. I heard a tip where you tighten them fairly snug middle out then go for a ride and tighten them up again while the engine is hot double check for a couple of days or so and you should be good, worked for myself this far. Use a quality gasket as well. IF you plan on using headers you might wanna get some header bolts that have recessed hex patterns in the head of the bolt, they are round on the outside and hex inside you will be able to use an allen wrench or socket with a allen wrench end (the socket with the allen wrech end doesn't fit on all either I used an allen wrench with no problems) and it will make install and tightening of the bolts very easy as all bolts arent accessible with a normal socket and a normal wrench can be tricky. I have Bassani headers, and have no problems with gaskets. They use a two piece design. There is the actual metal gasket, but around each exhaust port, they use a graphite 'crush sleeve' to eliminate any chance of leaks. I had mine installed at a local shop that does nothing but exhaust systems, and they said they were the slickest gaskets they had ever seen for headers.
