decoding VIN# for 79' F-150

decoding VIN# for 79' F-150
The VIN is F14HUEA3848. I know F14 is F-150 4x4, and H is engine code for 351. This truck has a 400 in it, is it possible that the 400 isthe original engine. Also is the EA part of the consecutive unit number.

The previous owner had the engine rebuilt at NAPA. He told them he thought it was a 351, they called him back and told him it was a 400. When they bored it 30 over they put 400 parts back in the engine. I guess I am taking NAPA's word that it is a 400.
