You might want to opt for some heavier springs up front if your old ones are sagging a bit. I am not sure of the weight differences, but I would say 200+ lbs at least. I know the tranny will bolt up, but I dont know about the engine mounts. A buddy of mine swapped a 351 M for a 460 and had to get new mounts. Im sure someone will know.
Don't forget you will need all the exhaust manifolds for a 460 pickup and the accessory brackets ect. I had a customer once with the exact swap done and the power steering pump would hit the steering box when the belt was tightened. I remember using the diegrinder quite a bit to remedy the situation but I don't remember the specifics
The difference in weight between the 400 and the 460 is 90 lbs. The weight of the 460 stock intake manifold and stock exhaust manifolds together is 91 pounds. If you plan on using headers and an aftermarket aluminum intake, you can probably figure on reducing that weight difference of 90 lbs to about half.
