Exhaust Hangars
I have a real conundrum. The exhaust manifold that came with my 1964 223I6 F350 was cracked. After reading every post about the infamous manifold on this forum, I connected with my cousin who was able to weld it for me. I’m about to put it back on the truck, with new exhaust. Can anyone tell me the surefire way to hang this exhaust, better than the factory method, to ensure the manifold never cracks again? Rubber exhaust hangars? Extra support for the exhaust BEFORE it heads to the passenger side of the truck?

For some reason I was under the impression the manifolds were notorious for cracking because of how the exhaust was designed and held.
