Hey folks, new to this forum and about to be a new owner of a 05' Excursion Limited 2wd with 60k miles on it. Looks to have one owner on the vehicle. I will be driving to TX to pick it up and than driving back to GA. Looking forward to bringing this into the family and enjoying it for years to come. I will post more pictures to the thread when I actually take ownership of it but wanted to introduce myself to the forum. Any tips or advice is always welcomed and I'm sure that I will need some help at some point with parts, upgrades, tuners, etc. as there seems to be endless opportunities with these vehicles. I have already been "lurking" and there seems to be so much information and insight from all of you which is impressive. Glad to be here and thanks for having me!
Thanks! My wife thinks I am nuts traveling that far to get it but it’s hard to pass up with the mileage. It has the 6.0 in it. I’ve heard good and bad things about it but it’s worth the risk to me. Really excited to go get it!

I'd recommend the Torque Pro app and a wireless dongle to monitor delta temps... this is the bluetooth adapter I have:
But. I have an android phone. If you have an apple its different. Works wonderful to monitor all the vitals of a 6.0.
Here is what I monitor too... I think these are the most important things.
Thank you! I'm looking forward to the road trip. I was just made aware that there is an anti theft light on that I am trying to get the dealership to take care of. If not, I will be asking you all for some advice!

I really appreciate this tip! I will most definitely look into this. I have an apple phone so hopefully that is not a bad thing!
