E350 Leafs On An F150

I have a 1995 E350 that 's going to be donating a lot of stuff to my 1986 F150 like the EFI 351W and E4OD, but out of curiosity will the rear leaf springs swap over?

If you have both truck pull out the tape and start measuring but think the 350 springs will be to wide.
Then you have eye to center bolt front & rear.
Then from eye to eye.
Then the eye bolts sizes.
My bet is they will not fit with out a lot of work.

If he has a 4x4 f150, there is a chance they may fit if they are 3 inches wide like on the 4x4. I would be careful though. I am getting old and don't like a rough riding truck. The factory leaf springs are designed for a nice ride, well as nice as a truck can get and still be able to haul a load. If you make your own springs up you can go overboard and end up with a very rough riding truck.

It is 4x4. I didn't even think about width. I'll check that. The length looks to be the same when I quick measured the other day. As far as load I'm actually aiming to add a little more capacity as the truck pulls work duty daily. I'm going to also swap over the D60 from the same van and find a D60 for the front use the truck as my main camping rig, hauling even the kitchen sink.

Well, if you are going to haul a slide-in camper, you could use a little more spring I will admit. I hauled one of those on a 2000 mile trip and there is a lot of sway, and I had a f250 with helper springs on it. You can build any type of spring you want, as long as you keep the main leaf. You can cut and stack the other leaves on top of that one. But you still have a f150, your frame is a little bit thinner than a f250/350 so don't go overboard. Here's a kit you can use to install the dana 60 frontend under it. https://www.skysoffroaddesign.com/co...nt=19048852548

No camper just all the other stuff for primitive adventures including shovels, chainsaw, recovery gear and what not. A buddy of mine used to work at Sky's doing gears, axles and fab here in Utah. I didn't think to check with what they might have so thanks for that direction. I was hoping to keep it coil sprung up front but I haven't looked into what it would take fab wise.
