Reprogramming Alarm/FOB
Hey all,
I am transitioning from an 2006 F-150 to a 2020 F-250. With the 06, I was able to get access to the Code Alarm manual where I could change what doors opened with the FOB, the number of horn beeps, etc. The 06 had a security box under the driver's side that I could adjust with dip switches, etc. too. I am wondering has that all moved into the ECU(s) and adjusted with FORSCAN? I was able to find a ford mechanic that gave me a hard copy of the codes for my 06. I know it is something they keep close to the chest for $$ reasons. 14 years and lots of technology in the truck, I have a feeling, most of the configuration is within the ECU(s). FYI - I am still waiting on delivery, order was placed back in July.

I am still waiting on my F350, but on my 19 F150 Lariat, you can control some lock functions via the menu system. I can adjust auto lock and unlock as well as which doors open when I unlock the truck.
