Sorry if this has been ask before, but I'm new on this site. So I would like to know what kind of real world towing a 5th wheel with weight of 10000 to13000 lbs mpg I may get with a 2020/2021 F-350 ccsb sw 4x4 diesel ? Just doing my homework and making sure I'm doing the right thing. BTW, the unit we are looking at is 30 feet long, and 12 feet high, weight is around 10,000 lb.

I have the same truck in a 2017 model year. 3.55 gears.
Calculated (not the dash reading), I get an average of 10.7 mpg pulling a Grand Design Reflection 337RLS driving conservatively. Loaded for camping the camper is over 12,000 lbs. 68 mph on the interstates seems to be the sweet spot for my setup. Sometimes I get upper 9s, a few times I have gotten mid 12s. Headwinds, tailwinds, traffic, hills, speed, regens, campground setup, and fuel are all variables. Using a spreadsheet, it all averages out to 10.7 mpg with the times I have filled up with doing nothing but towing.
I've found mpg to be noticeably affected by percent of soy diesel. I hover around 11.5 mpg running our 5 ton fiver at 70 mph. Drops as low as 8 mpg with high percent of soy.
